As shire horse enthusiasts we would like to see an increase in the numbers of purebred shires and an increase in there use for ploughing, riding and showing.

The aim is not just to breed shires but to breed good quality, healthy animals. Shire horses are gentle giants and make great all round horses turning their hooves to many different disciplines, there are shire horses competing all over the country under saddle, in harness and in hand.

Once you have befriended these beautiful animals you will be as passionate about them as we are.
